How did you get into Pilates?
My Pilates journey began in 2015 while I was flying as a cabin crew. During that time, I developed lower back and neck pain due to working long hours, lifting containers and pushing heavy carts in high heeled shoes.

To ease my worsening pain,  I went to see doctors, physiotherapists, masseuse, chiropractors but they all said one common thing; that I must strengthen my core muscles and learn how to keep my body in good alignment.

So, I started taking private Pilates classes and after a few years here I am teaching Pilates to others as a living proof and an advocate who has actually benefited from it.

Why did you become an instructor?
I love how it connects my mind and body, how it constantly reminds me to stand, walk, and sit “properly”, and to move my body in a safer way!

What do you want clients to leave your class feeling?
Free, hopeful, confident and energised.

Fitness or technical classes?
If I have to choose, I prefer technical classes. I believe one can get the most out of the exercise when it’s done with precision and patience.

Favourite workout other than Pilates?
Riding a bicycle and swimming.

What’s your pre or post workout ritual?
Pilates breathing to help bring my mind into the present.

Favourite recipe to cook?
My mom’s Bibim Guksu- spicy Korean noodles made with kimchi, cucumber, gochujang sauce, boiled egg, sesame oil and love :).

Describe you and your teaching style in five words.
Friendly, dedicated, caring, encouraging, fun.
