Group Classes

Our Reformer and Pilates equipment classes are kept small with up to nine clients at Tanjong Pagar and ten at Orchard and New Bahru. With a variety of class types, you can mix and match sessions to create a well-rounded routine.


Class Types and Prerequisites

GROUP CLASS TYPES

Beginner / Open Level: Essentials
Level 1: Sculpt, Core, Sculpt Blast, Posture + Stretch, Bosu Pilates, Elevate
Level 2: Strength


PREREQUISITES
Prerequisite classes should take place within 3 to 6 months prior to attending a higher level class. Instructors may assess and recommend clients to take higher or lower level classes.

Beginner Level: No prerequisites required
Level 1: 3 to 5 Essentials classes attended
Level 2: 5 to 10 Level 1 classes attended

Group classes are for ages 18–60. If you’re younger or older, please contact us or consider a private session.

Beginner Level


Essentials (Reformer)

The one that class everyone should take.

Off Duty Pilates' Essentials class isn't your typical beginner experience. Drawing on years of teaching, we've developed a curated approach to introduce foundational Pilates principles through movement. You'll learn to activate your core using breath and move with precision, with each exercise broken down step-by-step to ensure proper muscle engagement and reformer comfort. This class is designed to build a strong foundation, preparing you for higher-level classes, while still offering a challenging workout for all experience levels.

This is a Beginner / Open Level class.
Prerequisite:
None. This is a prerequisite for other classes. Attend three to five Essentials classes to join Level 1 classes.

Level 1


Sculpt (Reformer)

For that S-line body.

Did anyone say, Bubble Butt? Work at shaping that ass, arms and abs in this class as we help you get that toned body you’ve always wanted. Sculpt your body with exercises that will not only focus on strengthening your stability core muscles, but get your arms, legs and ass burning as well.

This is a Level 1 class.

Core (Reformer)

Strong core, lean bodies.

Strengthen and lengthen in this total body workout that’ll have your core burning through three-dimensional exercises from your front, side and back. Improve your spinal mobility with targeted moves, helping you move with ease throughout your day. Finish strong with lower body exercises that lengthen and tone your muscles, leaving you feeling taller, stronger, more flexible and ready to take on anything.

This is a Level 1 class.
Prerequisite: 3 to 5 x Essentials classes


Sculpt Blast (Reformer)

Sculpt heavy, cardio light.

An avid fan of our Sculpt classes? You’re going to love this one. Enjoy the same full-body toning and strengthening workout with an added bit of conditioning. We’re making it dynamic, while keeping it cardio-light for a well-rounded and energising session that will leave you feeling sculpted and revitalised. While this is a low-impact class, it is not suitable for those with lower body injuries and pain. The jumpboard will be used in this class.

This is a Level 1 class.
Prerequisite: 3 to 5 x Essentials classes


Posture + Stretch (Reformer)

Look taller, feel better.

Loosen out the kinks in your shoulders, strengthen those back muscles and elongate your body in this gentle and not too sweaty Reformer class. We'll work on progressively improving our posture and alignment through a mixture of stretching and strengthening exercises.

If you're suffering from poor posture and tech neck (turtle neck) from long hours hunched over your computer, or just want to ensure your posture remains in tip top state, this class is for you!

This is a Level 1 class.
Prerequisite: 3 to 5 x Essentials classes


Bosu Pilates (Reformer)

Down to the core.

Exclusive to Palais Renaissance, this class will incorporate both the BOSU ball and the Reformer in a core-challenging total body workout. Warm up and get the heart pumping with the BOSU, then strengthen and tone your arms and glutes 🍑 on the Reformer, before we head into a full-body segment utilising both the BOSU and our beloved Reformer. This class will engage all the right muscles as you work on your stability, while building strength and toning the body.

This is a Level 1 class.

Elevate (Reformer + Chair)

Take your practice to new heights.

Elevate your Pilates practice with this dynamic full-body workout that uses both the Reformer and the Chair to challenge your strength, coordination, and stability. Through a combination of resistance exercises and controlled movements, you'll sculpt and tone your muscles while improving posture and body awareness. This class is designed to build a strong core and leave you feeling empowered and centred.

This is a Level 1 class.
Prerequisite: 3 to 5 x Essentials classes

Level 2


Strength (Reformer)

Get superhero strong.

We're taking it up a notch and bringing you a class designed to take your Pilates practice further with advanced repertoire and more. On top of your usual resistance work on the Reformer, we're adding booty bands and optional free weights to help build strength. Ideal for those looking to test their limits while pursuing precision and control.

This is a Level 2 class.
Prerequisite: 5 to 10 x Level 1 classes
