How did you get into Pilates?
I started out with online pilates videos when I was trying to find an exercise to help me get fitter - 10 years later and I’m still hooked!

What do you love about it?
I love how controlled and mindful it is, yet so challenging and fun at the same time. Pilates has helped me build a strong core (perfect when you’re trying to balance in a crowded train or bus!), increased my body awareness and kept me injury-free all these years. Also, I really love the feeling of being strong, graceful and centred after classes!

Why did you become an instructor?
Pilates has been such a big part of my life and I have benefited from it so much. I used to think high intensity workouts were the only way to achieve my fitness goals, until Pilates showed me how strong my body can be without putting too much stress on it – that completely shifted my whole mindset.

I hope that by being an instructor, I’ll have the opportunity to share what I have learnt with clients, journey with them to make Pilates a part of their lifestyle and help them realise how amazing the human body is.  

What do you want clients to leave your class feeling? 
Strong, happy and proud of themselves for finishing that last rep!

What makes your class unique and sweaty?
A combination of big and small movements so your heart rate goes up a little and you get that awesome burn too.

Favourite workout other than Pilates? 
Barre (I’m also an instructor!), strength circuits and hiking in parks.
