What is your approach to teaching Pilates?
I focus on building body awareness so that clients can understand how they move. This will help with daily life too, such as maintaining a good posture or staying injury-free in other activities.
What do you focus on most in your classes?
Pilates can be really challenging when done well. I encourage clients to move with good form and intention because that's where the real work happens!
What can clients expect from your class?
I do my best to build up the sequences progressively so that your body feels prepared for the more challenging variations. There will always be an option for you to choose what feels right for your body that day.
What do you want clients to leave your class feeling?
I want my clients to feel proud of themselves for showing up and to leave each class feeling stronger. Over time, I hope that they notice their own progress too.
How would you describe your teaching style?
Encouraging and supportive, like a friend cheering you on while keeping you focused.
What’s something you often emphasise in class?
Understanding the key muscles and joints involved in the exercises will help make the movement more intentional.
Outside the studio, what keeps you feeling your best?
Spending time with loved ones and staying active through pilates, running and weights training.
What’s a value or mindset you try to live by?
Don't be afraid to try and never give up :)
