What is your approach to teaching Pilates?
For me, Pilates is about building awareness and connection. Each time you show up, it is a chance to understand your body a little more. I like to guide clients to slow down, to feel, and to move with intention. Meaningful change often begins in those small connections.
What do you focus on most in your classes?
I always come back to breath, alignment, and how the movement feels in the body. Everyone moves in their own way, so I pay attention to where they might be holding tension, and guide towards a way of moving that feels more supported and balanced.
What can clients expect from your class?
A class that flows with intention and builds over time. There will be moments that feel challenging, along with space to pause and breathe.
What do you want clients to leave your class feeling?
To feel proud of themselves for showing up, for staying with the practice, even on the days that feel a little harder.
How would you describe your teaching style?
Encouraging, mindful, and supportive.
What’s something you often emphasise in class?
"Remember to breathe, and to feel how your breath supports the movement."
Outside the studio, what keeps you feeling your best?
Spending time with my dog, going for walks, and slowing down. Those simple moments help me reset and stay present.
What’s a value or mindset you try to live by?
I believe in small, consistent steps. They may feel simple in the moment, but over time they create meaningful and lasting change, both in movement and in life.
