How did you get into Pilates?
I was in studying Dance in LASALLE College of the Arts and we had weekly Pilates mat classes, which I really enjoyed. I also found that it helped me gain more body awareness in my movements during dance practice.

What do you love about Pilates?
I love that Pilates is about integrated movements with control. I love that I am still learning new things about the body and what it can do with strength, mobility and awareness.

Coming from a dance background, I love that Pilates is most importantly about movement and moving tension-free. When I was a young dancer, I constantly had injuries and didn't understand how to prevent them. Pilates has really helped to strengthen me and kept me free from injuries.

Why did you become an instructor?
I enjoy being able to share my knowledge to others and it makes me very happy to help others improve their quality of life through fitness.

I want to be able to help clients understand their bodies better through their own journey with fitness.

What makes your class unique and sweaty?
Be ready to pulse! I love adding pulses to give a little extra burn in your muscles :)

What do you want clients to leave your class feeling? 
I want them to step out of the class feeling confident and happy!

Favourite workout other than Pilates?
I love HIIT workouts, strength training, mobility training, dance - basically I love to move!


Favourite recipe to cook?
Fried rice. It reminds me of my mother's cooking 🧡
