HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHING STYLE?

My teaching style is grounded, gentle, and nurturing, with thorough detailed cueing that explores the whys and hows behind each movement. When I teach, I love to use demonstrations, analogies, and relatable examples from everyday life to make movement concepts easier to understand and apply.

WHAT DO YOU FOCUS ON IN YOUR CLASSES?

I focus on creating a well-rounded movement experience that works the body in all aspects, balancing strength, mobility, and flexibility. In my cueing, I prioritise clarity, precision, and intentionality. I also love giving clients something to take away with them when they leave the studio, whether it's a small detail about a movement, or a new perspective on movement or Pilates, this aspect of learning and growing through the practice is something that has helped my personal practice, and something I now hope to give as a teacher.

OUTSIDE THE STUDIO, HOW DO YOU KEEP YOURSELF FEELING YOUR BEST?

Learning in any way I can! From a young age I’ve always had an interest in human behaviour, so at the moment I’m in a graduate degree program studying psychology & neuroscience. I also love swimming & the outdoors, chilling with a cup of tea and a good book or podcast, immersing myself in creative hobbies, and starting my morning with an ice oat matcha.

WHAT’S A VALUE OR MINDSET YOU TRY TO LIVE BY?

So many! If I had to choose one, it would be learning to trust your intuition and gut feeling, even when the outside world may be expecting something else. To use discernment and intuition to make the choices true to yourself.
